Veselin Vachev is the new Chief Technology Officer of Net Info
He takes over the position on September 2nd
Veselin Vachev is the new Chief Technology Officer (CTO) of the leading media and technology company Net Info, part of Nova Broadcasting Group. The professional with a proven track record joins the company’s senior management, taking up the position on September 2nd, 2024. Veselin Vachev is responsible for the development of the group’s products, including the news sites Nova.bg, Vesti.bg, DarikNews.bg and Telegraph.bg, the sports portal Gong.bg, as well as the most popular Bulgarian free mail service ABV.bg, one of the most popular weather forecast applications Sinoptik.bg, the video platform Vbox7.com and others. In the new role, he will be responsible for the development of the teams, strategic technology solutions and the network of partners.
Veselin Vachev joined NOVA in 2013 and is responsible for the technological development of the media’s digital products. After the acquisition of Net Info by Nova Broadcasting Group, he became part of the technology management team as Head of Back-End Developers. He graduated from the Technical University of Sofia with a degree in Computer Systems and Technologies.
Veselin Vachev combines his successful career at Nova Broadcasting Group with teaching courses on PHP and Data Bases at the innovative educational center SoftUni, where he trains professionals in the software industry. He also demonstrates a deep interest in the topic of artificial intelligence, including authoring a book on AI and Prompt Engineering.
