Ohnamama.bg turns 4 years old
The platform organized an event for parents-to-be and parents to its readers
The Ohnamama.bg website, part of the digital media and technology company Net Info, celebrates its fourth birthday. Since its launch, the platform, which was developed in collaboration with medical doctors, experts and specialized teams, aims to provide reliable and verified advice to parents-to-be and parents from pregnancy planning to the first years of a child’s life.
The platform offers each user the opportunity to create a personal profile to receive personalized recommendations and advice according to the period they are in as a parent. Some of the curious features of the site include baby name suggestions, a term calculator, an immunization calendar approved by the Ministry of Health, a pregnancy glossary and other tools.
True to its mission of providing meaningful and reliable information, the platform also organized its first major all-day “Oh, na mama!” event for pregnant women and parents. Nine leading experts answered important parenting questions in three themed panels – Pregnancy, Newborn and Baby. Topics included reproductive health, pregnancy tracking, advantages and disadvantages of natural childbirth and cesarean section, breastfeeding, child care and family relationships, and legal issues for parents. The hosts of the event were the editor-in-chief of Ohnamama.bg Natalia Mazgareva and the writer Georgi Blazhev, whom viewers know as a panelist from the NOVA show “Na kafe”.
