ABV.bg and the newspaper “Telegraph” receive prestigious international awards

The QUality MeDAL distinction is based on the results of an independent market survey

ABV.bg and the newspaper “Telegraph” were honored with the prestigious international QUDAL – QUality MeDAL Bulgaria 2025/2026 award. ABV.bg was ranked first in the “Web Portal” category, while “Telegraph” won the gold medal in the “Daily Newspaper” category.

The QUality MeDAL distinction is based on the results of an independent market survey conducted in January 2025 by ICERTIAS (International Certification Association GmbH)—a globally recognized and politically independent organization headquartered in Zurich, Switzerland, operating on five continents with over 10,000 certificates issued.

ABV.bg is receiving this distinction for the second time—the mail service first received a medal in 2018. Users identified ABV.bg as the Bulgarian web portal that offers first-class quality.

“The QUDAL award is a significant recognition for ABV.bg. The fact that users rate our portal with a quality medal reflects our mission to provide a high-quality user experience to nearly 2.5 million users,” commented Yanko Iskrenov, Product Manager of ABV.bg.

In the same survey, the newspaper “Telegraph” won the gold medal in the “Daily Newspaper” category, after respondents named it as the daily newspapper with Bulgarian content offering the highest quality in the country.

“‘Telegraph’ continues to keep pace with trends in order to present exclusive news and entertainment content to its readers in a more engaging way. This distinction is a recognition of the efforts of the entire ‘Telegraph’ team to provide accessible and engaging content that earns our readers’ trust,” commented Plamen Valkov, Operations Director of the “Telegraph” newspaper.

QUDAL certificates confirm the high degree of trust and satisfaction that the platforms of NOVA Broadcasting Group build through the continuous development of their platforms.

The study uses the DEEPMA – DeepMindAwareness method, which encourages careful consideration of the questions before answering. The methodology measures customer trust with open-ended questions: “Name the daily newspaper which, based on your personal experience and opinion, offers absolutely the highest quality on the Bulgarian market,” and “Name the website with Bulgarian content (a web portal in Bulgarian) which, according to your experience and opinion and those of your close ones, offers the highest quality in Bulgaria.”
